    Georgia Regents University Physician Assistant Class of 2016 proudly presents the Running through the Decades Resolution 5k/10k Resolution Run on March 28th 2015 at Savannah Rapids Park. This annual fundraising race benefits the Christ Church Health Clinic that is run locally here in Augusta, Georgia.


    Christ Church Health Clinic ‘s mission is to provide quality, patient-centered healthcare to the
underprivileged areas of Augusta, Georgia. The students and staff contribute medical assistance to those individuals by offering health screenings along with patient education. Our overall ambition for providing these services is driven by the hope of building a healthier community.

    Please come dressed in your best decades costume ready to run for a great cause.
    Prizes will be given for:
    Top three finishers - Female/Male 5k
    Top three finishers - Female/Male 10k
    Best costume - Female/Male

    The Jaguar Rush 5k is a fun run/walk that is being put on by the Georgia Regents University ROTC program in order to raise funds and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project. This is an all ages event. Come out and run with us

    In the weeks leading up to the 5K Run with Art, In Memory of Kath Engler, we've set a goal to raise $10,000 for the Walton Foundation for Independence and their camps for children with physical disabilites.     The Fox Trot 5K is raising money for the Fox Creek High School Cross Country team. The race is held on a true cross country course, you'll be running on pavement, sand, and clay. You'll be in the woods and open fields on the fairly flat and fast track. The course is excellent for spectators as well, making 2 laps around the 1.5 mile course.

    The race will begin at 9 am and runners may begin their packet pick up at 7:30. Participants may park in the back lot of Fox Creek High School.

    The Aiken Electric Cooperative Touchstone Energy RUN UNITED is now in its' fourth year and being held in historic downtown Aiken, SC. The course winds around beautiful live oak trees, horse trails, training tracks, the Aiken Polo field and majestic properties.

    Check-in begins 6:30 a.m., Half Marathon run at 7:30 a.m., 5K at 8 a.m., Kids’ Fun Run at 9 a.m. Awards immediately following race completion.

    Early check-in available April 24, 4 to 6 p.m. at Aiken Electric Cooperative, 2790 Wagener Rd., Aiken, SC. Register before April 3 and receive a runners shirt.

    Proceeds from the races benefit the United Way of Aiken County. Participants registering by April 4, 2015 will receive an event tee-shirt. Registrations will be accepted up to race day and pricing will change after March 30 to $65 for the Half Marathon, $30 for the 5K and $15 Kids’ Fun Run.

    Please no animals or strollers on the 5K and Half Marathon race route.

    What time does the race start and where is the start?
    The race is on Sunday, April 26, 2015. The official start time for the half marathon will be 7:00am. The 5k and 10k will start at 7:15am.

    How many participants are allowed in each event?
    Half Marathon: 1,500
    10k: 750
    5k: 750

    Registration

    Will Participants receive any merchandise?

    Yes! Each racer will receive a race tech t-shirt. We will offer both men’s and women’s size shirts.


    If you choose to register at packet pick-up on race day, we cannot guarantee a race t-shirt. They will be available to race day registrants on a first come, first serve basis while quantities last.

    Will there be medals for participants?
    All half marathon finishers will receive this medal!


    Will there be professional photographers and photos for purchase?
    Yes! Professional photographers will be on site for the race and will provide photos for purchase.

    Is this race a USATF Certified Course?
    Yes! Certification numbers will be posted closer to the race.

    Is there a time limit?
    Yes, 3.5 hours for each distance.

    Is there prize money or awards?

    The overall awards will be presented at 10:30 am prior to the giveaway drawing. Overall winners, both male and female, will receive awards. Runners must be present to receive their prize.

    Age group winners, both male and female, will receive awards. Age groups are as follows: 19 & under; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-up.

    When is packet pick-up?
    Packet pick-up times and locations will be announced closer to the race. We will offer packet pick-up on Friday and Saturday before the race as well as the morning of the race. Specific times and locations TBA.

    How do I become a volunteer?
    We need volunteers to make this event happen! All volunteers will be given a t-shirt! Please click the volunteer tab above for more information.

    Can I pick up someone else’s packet?
    If you have a picture of their photo ID, yes you can. A picture on your phone works well!

    Will there be live tracking for my athlete?
    No, we will not offer live tracking.

    Where can I find the results?
    Results will be posted in real time on our website! We will also send you a text message during the race with a link to view the results after you finish.

    Can I get a refund?
    Refunds will not be issued for any reason. Event entries are not transferable from person to person, race to race or year to year.

    What food and drinks will be on the course?
    The course will feature plenty of aid stations with water and gatorade.

    Will there be bathrooms on the course?
    We will have two Rent-A-Johns at each aid station on the course.

    Can I wear headphones?
    It is unsafe to wear headphones while running. Event organizers will not restrict headphone use and leave it up to the athlete on his/her ability to follow direction while wearing headphone devices. If you do choose to wear headphones please keep the volume level down so you are able to hear and follow the direction of course volunteers. We have a unique course where you must listen to volunteers.

    Can someone else run in my place?
    No, you are not allowed to transfer bib numbers.

    Can I register on race day?
    Yes, you will be able to register on race day and at packet pick-up, as well as online up until one hour prior to the race – though you must pick up your bib in time to race!

    Are walkers allowed in the race?
    Yes! However, you must meet the requirements of the completing the race in 3.5 hours or less (any distance).

    Are baby joggers, strollers or pets allowed during the race?
    No. This is to ensure runner safety and comply with liability insurance policies.
