The Fort Gordon
Freedom Park Trail
System is an awesome place to run if your looking for some tough
trails.
This trail system is huge, well marked, and under utilized. I'd
advise downloading a trail map off their website and taking it with you
as you can get lost. For that matter, a compass and fluids would
also be prudent.
(I always enjoyed these trails much more in the winter due to
vegetation being much more sparse and snakes being less of a problem)
Be sure to take your photo id and expect your car to be searched at the
gate.

If visiting in the area and looking for a good place to get in some miles, this
is it. We'd recommend parking at
and exploring in either direction.
